How the fuck do I fix this?

We had sex!

Awesome sex!

And she’s been avoiding me again. I have to talk to her. I try to go to her apartment, and she doesn’t answer the door. I try to go where everyone tells me is and she’s surrounded by people and somehow manages to duck out.

I walk through the back door of Crockett’s and work my way to the front. Noticing that things are pretty mellow, it’s a weeknight after all, I head to the bar and start wiping things down. All the while I’m thinking about what I can do.

Flowers? No.

Maybe another basket? Uh, hell no. I don’t want anything else thrown at my head.

Groaning, I drop my head back, swallowing. There’s nothing. The sound of the door opening doesn’t register with me, but the body that sits on the counter in front of me as a hand grabs my waistband and pulling me toward the bar definitely makes me take notice. The distinct scent of Roni has me stiffening.

When I open my eyes and look at her, it’s definitely a sight. Goth make-up in place, hair in high pigtails, fishnet stocking, those boots, short skirt that I’m sure wouldn’t get in the way, and a black shirt that says “Devil” across the front.

Roni definitely isn’t trying to hide who and what she is.

Roni’s legs are spread wide as she drags me between them, and she pulls my head down for a kiss. Groaning, I grab her hair, being reminded of other times where she would come in and do this exact same thing. The kiss goes deeper as my hands cup her face, holding her in place as I trace her lips, begging for her tongue to come out and play.

Then Roni pushes me away.

“How about we go to the office?” she whispers through ruby red lips, her eyes dark.

I can only nod because I’m ready to go.

Her smile is wide as she jumps down off the counter in front of me. Grabbing the waist band of my pants, she tugs me toward the office. This is the fun and playful Roni that I remember, especially as she turns to me with a smile. Smiling back, I go to lean in for another kiss, but she pulls back, teasing me.

Once we reach the office, she slams the door shut and pushes me against it as she climbs me.

“Remember the first time here?” she whisper asks against my lips.

“Yeah,” I say with a smile. “It was right there on that desk, in a situation similar to this one.”

“Yes, it was,” she smiles, kissing me quickly before dropping to her feet and walking around the desk. Turning to face me, I watch her legs spread wide as she leans back on the desk. “Are you coming?”

Oh, she has no clue how close I am. Smiling, I whip my shirt over my head as I walk to the desk and situate myself between her thighs, my hands on either side of her as I loom over her.
